Welcome to the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati!

Thank you for choosing our YMCA to meet your health and wellness goals. YMCA staff and volunteers are committed to helping you identify the best ways the YMCA can support and serve you.

I like to challenge all members to really take advantage of all the Y has to offer. The YMCA’s programs are plentiful and many included complimentary in your membership value. As a new member, we have given you guest passes to invite your family and friends to join you in building healthy habits – be sure to invite them right away so they can enjoy all the Y has to offer. Your YMCA of Greater Cincinnati membership allows you access to all of our area branches. Why not take a “Y tour” and enjoy all of our 14 different YMCA locations for convenience of schedules and special indoor and outdoor pool features.

Often members tell me they joined the Y to get reacquainted with the better habits of their youth. Sometimes it's simply that the kids need to learn how to swim; we want to get in shape; our youngster has an interest in gymnastics; we want excellent childcare while we're at work.

More often members tell me that once engaged as a Y member, the benefits of belonging to the YMCA family far exceed the initial reasons for joining. Our vision is to improve the quality of life for all. The YMCA works daily to respond to the needs of families and communities. The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati serves 152,000 individuals each year through 98 facility, program, and child development sites.

What you may not know is that the YMCA turns no one away for inability to pay for services. So if you know of a child or family who would benefit from the YMCA but are concerned about their ability to pay, please ask a Y staff member about the YMCA for All Programs.

If you have the ability to give or want to help raise money to fund YMCA programs or support participation for children and families, please let your local Y staff connect you to others who also want to make a difference.

The YMCA is powered by volunteers who serve on branch boards, coach youth sports, teach fitness classes, instruct adults and kids in aquatics, and donate professional services. Adults who can also give back are a true gift for our children and the community’s future.

Thanks again for choosing the YMCA. I look forward to working out and working with all our members to improve our community and provide healthy and positive options and opportunities for all.

Yours in Y spirit,
