    The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati has acquired the Batavia Heights Christian Child Care Center (BHCCC), located at 2555 Old State Route 32 in Batavia Township.  Barb Bruner, who began operating the center 27 years ago, is retiring and was looking for the right organization to entrust her business to that would continue to uphold strong Christian principles that have sustained the center over its many years of operation.

The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps those at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes adopt and maintain healthy lifestyles by eating healthier, increasing physical activity and losing a modest amount of weight in order to reduce their chances of developing the disease. The YMCA of Greater Cinincinnati is committed to offering STEM Enrichment to all youth participants in our Early Learning, AfterSchool, and Camp Programs. Our goal is to provide all young people with meaningful interactions with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics for the purpose of developing critical thinkers, problem solvers, a collaborative team members. This December we will host YMCA leaders from 15 associations across the country to participate in a Harvest Session to capture and share best practices, share resources, and plan for further program implementation and innovation. #STEMDay
